Notman’s response to COVID-19

Our community’s health and safety are our main concern and remain our absolute priority. As the COVID-19 situation evolves, we follow the guidelines recommended by the Public Health department and by the World Health Organization (WHO) to ensure the health and well-being of our community. You can find here our updated policies and the health and safety measures which we have implemented.

Access to our spaces

Our spaces continue to be accessible 24/7 for our residents who have their own key.

Maximum occupancy varies depending on the spaces. Please see on doors at Notman

Your safety and well-being

We’ve implemented a certain amount of hygiene and physical distancing measures, as per the recommendations made by the Public Health department and by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Those measures are the following:

  • To minimize risk, we regularly disinfect the high contact zones such as doors, doorknobs, light switches, handrails ;

  • We limit the number of seated places in shared areas, such as meeting rooms, coworking spaces, the café ;

  • We actively post tips and guidelines about hygiene, the one-way paths and physical distancing measures in our spaces ;

  • When necessary, we ask our members to reserve a time slot in advance to enter our spaces ;

  • Disinfectant is available in all our spaces ;

  • If a COVID-19 case is confirmed by a resident or member, this person/team oversees notifying the Notman team ;

  • If a COVID-19 case is confirmed in one of our spaces, we will inform all members and, if necessary, we will temporarily close the House for an in-depth cleaning and disinfection.

General building rules:

  • Keep a 1 m distance with others ;

  • Face coverings at all times while on the move ;

  • Clean and disinfect hands often and adequately ;

  • Do not enter the building if you or your roommate feel ill and/or have symptoms which resemble those of COVID-19 ;

  • We recommend that you not enter the building if your colleague is being/will be tested for COVID-19, and until the result is negative ;

  • Inform the Notman House team if you or a member of your team have tested positive for COVID-19.
