About the Foundation

The OSMO Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 by Montreal entrepreneurs to help build the local startup community in an open, inspiring and collaborative approach. With the creation in 2011 of Notman House, a 30,000 square foot campus, OSMO has created a community space for the growth of innovative companies led by business leaders committed to sustainable prosperity, a hub where startups, investors, partners, and community groups converge.

Maintenance Concierge


The concierge ensures the maintenance of the buildings and performs all the work required throughout the year. They ensure the housekeeping and general cleanliness of the buildings and grounds. The concierge also participates in the setting up of the rooms for events and ensures that everything is returned to its original state once the event is over. They also ensure that safety rules are observed during these events.


  • Maintain the interior and exterior spaces of Notman House
  • Carry out minor renovations in the building;
  • Move furniture, transport and store goods and materials;
  • See to the operation of heating appliances;
  • Set up rooms as needed (moving furniture)
  • Report any problems or anomalies to the building manager;
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning products and make the necessary purchase requests.
  • Receive and supervise certain subcontractors;
  • All other related tasks;


  • Experience in the concierge role;
  • Good manual skills;
  • Ability to occasionally lift loads and climb ladders;
  • Functional French;
  • Flexible availability;
  • Driver’s license (an asset)


  • Ability to manage priorities;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Initiative and resourcefulness;
  • Punctuality;
  • Good sense of customer service;
  • Attention to detail and work well done;
  • Respectful of the privacy of the tenants;

Type of job: Full time in person

Salary: $20.60/hr, 35 hour schedule guaranteed


  • Permanent position
  • Workplace in downtown Montreal, easily accessible by public transportation
  • Mainly Monday to Friday hours
  • Group insurance, once the trial period is over (3 months)
  • Cell phone allowance
  • Small and friendly management team in an inclusive and dynamic environment
